The Brainerd family has owned and rented Twin Oaks for nearly 10 years. During that time it has hosted many a family reunion, gathering of old friends, and quiet week by the lake.

The camp sits above Swan Lake and 350ft of water front, including a long beach with excellent swimming and some great rocks for diving and fishing.

The house is a two story cottage with a large screened porch. The three bedrooms provide ample room for 6. There is a fullly stocked kitchen, a bathroom with bathtub and shower and a large living room.

Twin Oaks also comes with several ways to enjoy the lake, aside from swimming, fishing and and relaxing by it. There are two kayaks and a canoe which are available for use by guests. Life jackets (adult and childrens sizes) are provided. We also are situated next to Swan Lake State Park which is open between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend, and offers a wonderful sandy beach with supervised swimming, playgrounds, picnic tables, trails to walk and so on.

Swan Lake is home to Bald eagles, Herons, Loons, Mallard ducks and many other interesting creatures, most of which can be seen flying or swimming by over the course of a summer.
